Bio
LEE Kawon(b.1999) makes films and draws. He seeks to bring out forms concealed within mystery. Through images in which only empty signs remain, he draws dreams down into reality. In this process, he dismantles and explores the identity he cannot step outside of.
His experimental animation PICNIC was selected for the International Competition at the 40th Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg. He has also created animations and music videos through an ongoing collaboration with the Los Angeles-based band The Blasting Company.
